Part of my Art of Death Series. The series examines how various cultures personify death, create myths and stories about life and death. Our innate fear or clebration of death and how these stories speak to how we deal with life and death. Hine-nui-te-pō is the Māori Great Woman of the Night, goddess of the underworld. She is credited with being apart of the Māori people's origin story.
